Synapse announce the opening of its new regional offices in Jersey.

Jersey, September 2010 – Synapse announce the opening of its new regional offices in Jersey. The investment in Jersey follows the announcement that the company has been named EMC Premier Solution Partner of the Year in England and Ireland, in recognition of its client focused business model a prestigious award..

For the last few years, Synapse have been hard at work providing customers with a safe path from the world of physical IT to fully virtualized IT and ultimately to cloud based IT infrastructure. Synapse entered 2010 in its best operational financial position and excellently positioned, with the technologies, products, services and partnerships and above all people to play an increasingly strategic role with its customers.

Established over 11 years ago in the Isle of Man, Synapse is predominately an offshore business with experience working internationally with start-ups to Fortune 500 businesses primarily Commercial and Financial Services organizations and increasingly egaming companies employing 50 – 2000 employees with clients including; Clerical Medical, Halifax Bank of Scotland European financial Services, Zurich International Solutions and Microgaming

Synapse has Technology Centres in both Manchester and Edinburgh and it intends making similar investment in Jersey to support its highly successful Accelerate workshops which are intended for IT professionals to explore how to deploy the technologies at the minimal cost and risk to their businesses to achieve maximum advantage and also to learn how to leverage related technologies to achieve more with less.

Synapse have worked with a number of Jersey businesses since being established and its investment in Jersey recognizes the increasing appetite for leading technology solutions from local companies to help ensure their ability to deliver world-class services. 

Synapse growth has been fuelled in two ways, firstly by helping its clients, manage risk, reduce cost and improve performance - by doing so, we’ve helped them grow, and they’ve returned the favor. Secondly we have been able to attract highly talented individuals to join our team.  This doesn’t happen overnight and despite the wealth of IT talent in Jersey we expect it will be a number of months until we can have the core team in place.  In the interim period support will be provided on the ground and remotely by personnel from other Synapse offices.

Synapse have recently opened a new regional office based in Manchester to give their clients access to dedicated laboratory functionality, enabling proof-of-concepts, product evaluations, technology bake-offs, and platform migration validations to be conducted quickly and cost-effectively, without interrupting workflow in their own data centers. This facility allows for the design and build of real-world IT environments that can be customised to simulate clients own development and/or production environments and perform a variety of testing to help solve immediate business needs.
